30 – Saturday, 4-6pm, Manitoga in Focus: All the Light and Shadow, $50
Curator Alyson Baker of River Valley Arts Collective will reflect on how Manitoga inspired the 2025 Art + Design Residency Installation, All the Light and Shadow, including conversation with select artists from the exhibition and a Q + A. This 2 hour experience includes a tour of the House, Studio, Design Gallery and Woodland Garden.

7 – Sunday, 10AM-12pm, MANITOGA: Drawn to Nature, $20
Join artist and educator Valerie Light for a unique opportunity to connect with the Landscape through art, inspired by Russel Wright’s own belief in the power of close observation, that art and design are for everyone. This program includes a guided experience in the Inner Landscape with opportunities for observational drawing in nature.

7 – Sunday, with tour admission, Last Day of All the Light and Shadow. Curator Alyson Baker presents work by River Valley Arts Collective artists at Dragon Rock.

4 – Saturday, 3-5pm, MANITOGA – In Focus: The Design Collection, $50
Enjoy a late afternoon tour of the House, Studio and Woodland Garden with special focus on the relationship between the Wright’s professional life-style and product designs and the architecture and landscape of their home at Manitoga. Tour includes an in-depth visit of the Russel & Mary Wright Design Gallery and an inside look at recent donations of rare early work from the collection of Gary & Laura Maurer.

11 – Saturday, 4 - 6pm, Sunset at Dragon Rock, $100
Explore the House, Studio and Woodland Garden in the enchanting hours of late afternoon. Then soak up the majestic sunset on the terraces of Dragon Rock with a glass of wine, charcuterie, and conversation among other design enthusiasts.

12 – Sunday, 10am-12pm, Landscape: Osios - Sculpted Views of the Hudson River Valley, $20
Take a 1-1/2 hr. / 1.5 mile moderate hike of Manitoga's woodland trails, featuring four osio ("beautiful view" in native Algonquin) designed by Russel Wright to frame the Hudson River.
Space is limited, reservations required.

25 – Saturday, 3 - 5:30pm, MANITOGA – In Focus: Autumn Walk & Sunset Toast at Boulder Osio, $75
Enjoy a late afternoon in-depth tour of the House, Studio, Woodland Garden and choreographed foot trails during peak foliage season. Then soak up the majestic late day sun with a glass of wine at the Boulder Osio before descending the Autumn Path. A charcuterie spread and conversation with other design enthusiasts awaits in the Historic Kitchen at Dragon Rock.

1 – Saturday, 10am - 3pm, Landscape Workday
Roll up your sleeves and meet other arborists, horticulturists, garden designers and landscape enthusiasts. Volunteers of all skill levels are welcomed. To register for this event, email ephillips@visitmanitoga.org or call 845-228-8350.

15 – Saturday, 12 - 4pm, A Collectors Afternoon with Ann Wright, $75
Enjoy a buffet lunch prepared by Ann Wright & Mark Rumbolo and spirited camaraderie with fellow collectors. Special presentation at 2pm, details forthcoming. Space is limited, advance reservations required.

6 – Saturday, 10am - 12:30pm, Welcome Winter! Forest Walk & Pine Tea, $75
Enjoy an extended, in-depth experience of the House, Studio, Woodland Garden and Russel Wright choreographed foot trails. Jane Dobson, Mindful Outdoor Nature Guide, will provide a Forest Bathing walk, complete with freshly foraged pine tea and light snacks.

YEAR ROUND

Self-Guided Hikes. Daily, during daylight hours. Manitoga offers two miles of trails designed by Russel Wright. His “garden of woodland paths” has links to the Appalachian Trail. Dogs are not permitted. Trail maps available at the Visitor/Guide House kiosk, 584 Route 9D public entrance. Suggested donation of $5 helps support trail maintenance.
