Manitoga is featured in a beautiful new Gestalten publication The Avant Gardens: Visionaries and Gardens Beyond Wild Expectations which features 31 unique gardens around the globe. Our chapter "Revealing the Spirit of Place" is illustrated with seven evocative photos by CoolHunting’s Josh Rubin and begins with the sentence: Mary Small Einstein Wright and her husband and business partner Russel Wright were successful industrial designers who believed that good home design could improve people’s lives.

LIT Lighting Design Award for the Russel & Mary Wright Design Gallery

The Russel & Mary Wright Design Gallery was awarded the 2022 LIT Lighting Design Award for Visitor Experience & Museum Exhibition. Anita Jorgensen Lighting Design also won for the new Frick Modern installation in the former Whitney Museum.
